PLEASE READ THE RULES CAREFULLY. ERA does not desire to award the tickets to ANYONE OTHER than the race winner, however, should the race winner violate any of the rules herein, the prize shall be awarded to the next highest finishing driver who does not violate any of the rules. Warnings MAY NOT be issued.
ALL drivers MUST attend the pre-race driver's meeting in the server, 30 minutes BEFORE qualifying time. NO CARS are allowed on the track until the meeting is concluded and NO CHAT, other than driver's meeting chat is allowed during this period.
Pace with EXTREME caution. Any driver damaging another driver under yellow - pace conditions will be EJECTED with no warning. Remember, others behind you want to get to the pits as quickly as they can, so pace-up. Lagging behind the pace will also be dealt with very sternly. Car's are encouraged to pace approximately .5 seconds apart and staggered for safe conditions.
No Driver shall chat during the Qualifying session. AUTO-Chat or CRITICAL chat only, during race ( i.e., E.O.L.L., or "no 3rd gear", etc...). Flamming, fighting or wrecking will not be tolerated. This INCLUDES whispering to another driver. There will be NO exceptions. If you are involved in an accident we expect you to continue on without comment. Period !
Blocking is ABSOLUTELY not allowed, UNLESS there are 5 laps or less remaining in the race. Blocking when the yellow comes out IS A VIOLATION of the rules. Blocking is defined as any change of lane or groove with the direct intent to deprive another driver the fair chance to pass. THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
Cars must NOT slow down for the yellow flag until AFTER turn one. If you slow before turn one and a wreck happens ANYPLACE behind you that is deemed your fault, you will be disqualified for the Grand Prize. Cars MAY race back to the line when the yellow is flown, HOWEVER, if you do this and are involved in an accident you very likely will be disqualified for wreckless driving, so use discretion.
If any driver wrecks another driver, the driver determined to have caused the accident shall be DISQUALIFIED, even if that driver goes on to win the race.
You MUST have your REPLAY and your EXPORTED STANDINGS in order to claim the Grand Prize. If you finish in 2nd - 5th place, it is HIGHLY recommended that you also save these items, just in case the driver finishing ahead of you is disqualified for any rules infraction(s).
ALL cars NOT on the lead lap WILL drive through the pits IF the yellow flag comes out and there are 11 laps or less remaining. This must be done on the LAST yellow pace lap. Failure to do so will result in an IMMEDIATE ejection from the server.
ANY driver deemed to be an impedement to the safe, orderly flow of the race, shall be ejected. This covers a LOT of ground, so be practiced and prepared.
"Bad Break Of The Race" award shall be determined by a vote of the admins and drivers, immediately following the race. Final tabulation of votes and awarding of this prize is at the sole discretion of the ERA team owner.
Any complaint MUST be filed in person with the race administrator during the MANDATORY post-race meeting to be held on the server.
ANYONE can hold the throttle wide-open. Only a skilled driver can follow rules and race clean, fast and consistent. It is this MOST skilled driver whom ERA would like to see win the Grand Prize. For this reason, you may expect the rules to be STRICTLY enforced.
